We are seeking a results-driven and strategic General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our grocery store. The ideal candidate will have extensive retail management experience, a strong grasp of inventory control and financial oversight, and a passion for leading teams to exceed customer expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Oversee all store operations including staffing, inventory, merchandising, and customer service 

• Lead, mentor, and motivate store employees to achieve sales targets and operational goals 

• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the customer shopping experience 

• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies 

• Analyze financial statements, manage budgets, and optimize profit margins 

• Build strong community and vendor relationships 

Qualification Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of management experience in grocery or retail environments 

• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team 

• Strong financial acumen and experience with P&L management 

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills 

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays 

Preferred Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field 

• Familiarity with inventory management software and point-of-sale systems
