Our program is designed to support working families while helping children build strong foundations for lifelong learning. ACC is open to ALL children. Priority is given to Alaska Native and American Indian families.

Alutiingcut provides dependable, developmentally appropriate care for children in a safe and welcoming setting. Our staff are trained, caring professionals who prioritize each child’s well-being, growth, and individual needs.
-
We honor Alutiiq culture, values, and ways of knowing by weaving cultural learning into everyday activities. Children are introduced to language, traditions, and community connections in age-appropriate and meaningful ways. We are always looking for guests to share more culture with us. Please inquire if you can provide a few hours of service!
-
Children learn best through play. Our program encourages curiosity, creativity, and exploration while supporting social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. We also support children’s daily needs through consistent routines, nutritious meals and snacks, rest time, and active play—helping children feel secure and ready to learn.
-
We believe families are children’s first teachers. Alutiingcut works closely with parents and caregivers to create strong partnerships and open communication, supporting the whole family.
-
