To promote pride and self-determination on part of the sovereign and indiginous people of the Kodiak area in their cultural heritage and traditions; to preserve and promote education, physical, economic and social well being of the Alaska Native individual, family and community; and to restore to effective self-government, reminding those who govern and those who are governed of their mutual and joint responsibilities.
