Higher Education Scholarship Program

Sun’aq tribal members can apply to this scholarship program for a secondary source of financial aid. The individual must attend an accredited college or university full-time or part-time, pursuing an AA or BA, and enroll for at least six credits. All students must maintain good academic standing to receive renewed funding. Scholarships are for $1,980 and are awarded twice yearly.

Application deadlines are June 30th and November 30th of each year. Students must actively pursue other funding resources before they can be considered. Call us for an application if you’re interested in applying. You may also email assistant@sunaq.org and request an application.

About

Our Tribal staff of 16 runs a 6,000-square foot office in the Sun’aq Tribal Center building in Kodiak, Alaska. Our administrative offices are on the second floor of the Sun’aq Tribal Center, located in the heart of downtown Kodiak.
