We have recieved a few Exxon checks back due to incorrect addresses. If you have not recieved your check yet, please see the list below. If you are on the list, please contact us to update your address. You can call Sun’aq at 907-486-4449 and ask for Enrollment or you can email execadmin@sunaq.org with your updated address.

Several organiziations within the Kodiak Alutiiq region have prepared a survey intended to identify individuals interested in learning the Kodiak Alutiiq language and how to best support them.

New Denim Java Jackets

Friday, Sept 16, Sarah and the kids from the high school introduced our handmade denim java jackets for free public use. These Java jackets are made out of recycled Jeans right here on the island. Our ‘denim jackets’ are a great alternative to the cardboard java jackets …AND can be… taken, washed, reused, thrown away, or returned to Harborside coffee shop. Help us Go Green!

If you would like to have some denim java jackets for your company or personal use, would like to donate old jeans or would like to make a cash donation to the cause please contact Sarah Lind, Sun’aq Youth Advocate, at 486-4449! Any donations greatly appreciated!
