Native Youth Group - Together As One

The native youth group "Together As One" is continuing to meet.  This school year they meet twice a week.  They gather for noon meetings at the High School on Fridays and at the Tribal Offices on Wednesday evenings.  Some of the activities that the youth group was involved in during this past year (2007) include fund raisers, helping out with the age 4-12 summer programs, advertising on KMXT for the Salmon Run and the Awakening Bear celebration, participating in the Salmon Run, and working at the Awakening Bear celebration, participating in the Relay for Life (Team Sun'aq), attending the Elders and Youth Conference in Fairbanks, helping out at the Fun Day (Healthy Marriages and Responsible Fatherhood celebration) and designing a sweatshirt logo.
